At Recosauna, we keep shipping simple, transparent, and reliable. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about delivery times, costs, and what to expect when your order arrives.

Free Shipping

Saunas:
✅ All saunas ship free of charge (residential freight delivery included for Continental USA).

Other products & accessories:
✅ Free standard shipping on orders over $150
Orders under $150 will show the shipping cost at checkout according to location.

Where We Ship

We currently ship within the United States and Canada.
For remote areas or special locations (including islands), additional freight charges may apply. If you’re unsure, contact us before placing your order.

Processing & Delivery Times

Order processing:
24–48 business hours

Sauna production & freight delivery (US & Canada):
Most saunas ship within 21–30 business days after order confirmation.

Each sauna is handcrafted, not mass-produced. This artisan build process takes longer than machine manufacturing but ensures higher quality, durability, and attention to detail. Due to increased demand across North America, production timelines may vary slightly based on availability.

Once your sauna ships, the freight carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment at your convenience.

Sauna Delivery: What to Expect

Because saunas are large and heavy, they are delivered by freight carrier in a protective crate.

Delivery method:

  • Curbside / end of driveway delivery

  • Carriers cannot move crates into backyards or private property

  • Large freight trucks are commonly used, so please ensure your street can accommodate them

Unloading (Customer Responsibility)

Unloading the crate is the customer’s responsibility.

Typical crate size/weight ranges:

  • Length: approx. 6–14 ft

  • Weight: approx. 800–1,600 lbs (depending on model)

Liftgate note:

  • If the crate is 92 inches (7 ft) or shorter, a liftgate may be available

  • If the crate is longer than 92 inches, liftgate service is typically not available

Common unloading options:

  • Forklift or similar equipment

  • Trailer pickup from the local freight terminal

  • Tilt tow truck (can be arranged locally)

Customs & Cross-Border (Canada → USA)

If your sauna ships from our Canadian manufacturer, customs and cross-border clearance are handled for you.

Damaged Shipments or Missing Parts

If your crate arrives with visible damage:

  1. Accept the delivery

  2. Take clear photos

  3. Note on the delivery paperwork:
    “Crate arrived damaged / possible concealed damage”

  4. Contact us right away

Any shipping damage or missing component claims must be reported within 30 days of delivery.

Address Changes & Delivery Holds

If you need to change your shipping address, contact us as soon as possible. Address changes after a freight shipment is in transit may incur carrier re-routing fees. Storage fees may apply if the carrier cannot reach you to schedule delivery.
